To meet the Client's requirements for privacy at the front of the residence, Kurisu's landscape design included a fence and Japanese style gate surrounding the street-side of this garden. The garden design offered a beautiful entry on the public side, and a private garden for the Client, allowing them to construct a glass wall on the garden-facing side of the residence to enjoy the view. This Japanese landscape design was unusual in that the garden sloped downward from the street entrance to the home. Landscaping with rock and slate paths, Kurisu transformed the potentially awkward space into an intimate stroll garden.
Interior design is a practice concerned with anything that is found inside a space - walls, windows, doors, finishes, textures, light, furnishings and furniture. All of these elements are used by interior designers to develop a functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing space for a building's users
